Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of OTWarden (otwarden.com), a vulnerability alerting service operated as a sole trader business based in the United Kingdom. By creating an account, you agree to these terms.

1. The Service

OTWarden monitors ICS (Industrial Control Systems) security advisories published by CISA and sends filtered email alerts to subscribers based on their watchlist preferences. We also provide a web dashboard for managing watchlists and viewing alert history.

2. Accounts

  • You must provide a valid email address to create an account
  • You are responsible for keeping your password secure
  • One account per person or per organisation
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use OTWarden

3. Free Trial

All new accounts receive a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start the trial. At the end of the trial, you can choose a paid plan to continue receiving alerts.

4. Pricing and Payment

  • Prices are listed in GBP (£) and are charged monthly
  • Payments are processed securely by Stripe
  • Your subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled
  • We reserve the right to change prices with 30 days notice to existing subscribers

5. Cancellation and Refunds

  • You can cancel your subscription at any time from your Account page or through the Stripe billing portal
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep access until then
  • We do not offer refunds for partial months
  • If you believe you were charged in error, contact [email protected] and we will investigate

6. Plan Limits

  • Essential: Up to 5 vendor watches, 2-hour alert cycle
  • Professional: Unlimited vendor watches, 1-hour alert cycle, weekly digest
  • Team: Everything in Professional, plus up to 5 additional team email recipients

7. Data Accuracy

OTWarden aggregates and relays vulnerability data published by CISA. While we strive for accuracy:

  • We do not guarantee the completeness or accuracy of any advisory data
  • Advisory data originates from CISA and the respective vendors — we do not independently verify it
  • OTWarden is an alerting tool, not a substitute for professional security assessment
  • You should always verify advisory details against the original CISA publication before taking action

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • OTWarden is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind
  • We are not liable for any missed alerts, delayed alerts, or incorrect advisory information
  • We are not liable for any damages, losses, or costs arising from your use of or inability to use the service
  • Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding any claim

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Share your account credentials with others (Team plan members should use the team recipient feature)
  • Attempt to access other users' data
  • Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the service
  • Resell or redistribute OTWarden alerts or data
  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose

10. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may occasionally need to perform maintenance, which may temporarily affect availability. We will endeavour to provide advance notice of planned maintenance.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms. We will provide notice where practical. You may delete your account at any time by contacting [email protected].

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify active subscribers by email of any material changes at least 14 days before they take effect.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
